Large business bidders are frequently required to subcontract ~ 30% of the value of their contracts to small businesses due to the Small Business Set Aside Program.  However, to be selected on a large business' bid team as a small business partner is non-trivial, considering that tens of thousands of small businesses are vying for the same opportunity!  As such, large business bidders only select small business partners that ADD VALUE TO THEIR PROPOSALS...and this value must be 100% tangible.  Simply "being good" at something doesn't count.  ISO Certifications add value in the form of additional evaluated points or as proposal "strengths."  Possessing ISO Certifications will easily place your small business in the TOP 0.1% of small businesses to help you stand out in the crowd as a "value add" small business partner!
